RULES & REGULATIONS
- The Library will be kept open on all working days from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
- Silence to be maintained.
- No discussion permitted inside the library.
- All the students, faculty and non- teaching staff are the members of the Library.
- Members are not allowed to take personal belongings with them inside the Library.
- ID card should be scanned at the entrance before entering & leaving the library.
- Books will be lent to the members only against their ID Card.

- Library borrower cards are not transferable. The borrower is responsible for the books borrowed on her card.
- The books and the other materials which are being taken out of the library should be shown to the staff at the entrance counter.
- The books borrowed must be returned on the due date, Defaulter will be fined.
- Book due on a holiday may be returned on the next working day.
- Renewal of book(s) will be allowed only if the book(s) are not on demand. Renewal will be allowed 1 time for the students and 2 times for the faculty.
- Loss of books issued, should be reported to the Librarian immediately. The borrower has to replace the same book with new edition or she has to pay the cost of the book.
- Reference books, Back Volumes and examination question papers, best answer script can only be referred inside the library.
- The librarian may recall any book at any time even if the normal period of loan has not expired, if the book is in demand.
- Members may suggest in writing to the librarian about the purchase of textbooks or for which additional copies are required.
- OPAC (Online Access Catalogue) is used to browse their individual transaction and the availability of the entire library collection. We provide facilities to search the books by Author, Title, Subject, Key word etc. to know the availability of library documents and to save the time of user.
- Using Cellular phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises.
- Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken anywhere in the library premises.
