Internal Committee (ICC) - POSH

Our college has constituted the Internal Committee (ICC) under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act), to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students and staff. The committee addresses complaints of sexual harassment promptly, confidentially, and fairly, upholding women's dignity and rights.

Objectives

  • To prevent and prohibit sexual harassment, creating a secure campus free from gender-based discrimination.
  • To facilitate inquiry, resolution, and support for victims, while sensitizing the community on POSH guidelines and legal protections.

Outcomes

  • The committee conducts awareness sessions, workshops, and training programs to foster a zero-tolerance culture towards harassment.
  • It empowers women by ensuring accessible redressal mechanisms, promoting accountability and gender equality across the institution.
